A wonderful novel, over an important novel Its good to see Samartin grow as an author, and to write about her cuban heritage I understand why Cuban authorities aren t pleased with the novel and its criticism of the conditions in the prisons, the social situations at Cuba and the praise of the women in white, whom I admire deeply It might not be Samartin s best novel, but none the less an important novel, both for Samartin and the cuban people.

As always Samartin delivers I love the way she writes as always , and that is one of the biggest reasons why I have read all her books so far I just loved this book, this also might be the best book she has ever written I love the honesty she has towards Cuba and The Woman in white I have always been interested in Cuba for some reason, that is also why I really loved this book I think what s happening there is horrible, and I pray with all my heart that change will come Viva Cuba
