A really nice conclusion to a lovely story A transition from childhood to adulthood and everything in between Every struggle, fear, hope and dream a 18 year old has after finishes school Excitement for what future hold and at the same time fear for what you may leave behind I love Erin and Weston. Would ve liked an epilogue of their hopefully together future. REVIEW TO COME4 Stars BR with Jennifer Mysza Didn t love it Didn t hate it Ok conclusion. So disappointed with this hardly anything happens It really is just two teenagers on again, off again for really pointless reasons I found Wes to be a needy, windy jerk in this book what a shame as I loved the first book I am very annoyed as I Usually love this authors work This pointless trilogy could have been told as a one off novella It was very dragged out an expensive to buy all three parts What a shame. This entire series has been a roller coaster of emotions, so it s no surprise that the finale is by far the most moving of all three Jamie has once again managed to shine, but this one will really take a toll on you After witnessing most of Erin s tormenting at the hands of peers and adults , all you can hope is for her to get some peace With this being her final year, all I wanted was for some of these people to widen up, treat her as a human instead of the trash they saw her as Sadly, this wasn t the case for most Mixed in with the bullying, belittling, and constant condescension towards her was her somewhat faltering relationship with Weston Neither wanted to be apart, but they also wanted to fulfill their own dreams Yes, they are young, but sometimes that just doesn t matter If it s meant to be, it s meant to be But the letting go is always hard, even if it s temporary Jamie does a stellar job portraying the guilt and second guessing of a teen in love Erin needed to leave in order to succeed, and leaving behind those who dragged her down was the top priority As it should have been Is that selfish I don t think so After a lifetime of being told you re worthless and not good enough, I m sure it starts to creep in to your head that maybe they re right It doesn t matter how strong you are, words hurt The journey of Erin Easter Alderman has been brilliant, and I m thankful Jamie decided to tell this story Maybe some eyes will open, and the things people believe are important those material things will be seen for what they are THINGS Happenstance is a story of overcoming the hand you were dealt, overcoming the obstacles placed in your way to keep you down, and discovering who you are and loving yourself I can t help but be thankful that this has never been my life Having said that, Erin is stronger for how she grew up The things she was subjected to her entire life made her who she is And, in my opinion, she s a damn amazing young woman If she were a real person, I d tell her to shine on, and let the haters hate on her now. lt was just us, in our space, just the way our story beganJamie McGuire did a great job wrapping this short story series up with an believably sweet ending for Weston and Erin Erin has been through so much finding out that there was a mix up at the hospital that left her living her life with a mother that didn t love her in a beaten down trailer The boy of her dreams dating the school s other Erin who was her bully tormentor and living the life that we find out was supposed to hers all along.I really enjoyed this last installment as Weston panics with the idea that they will be splitting after prom, graduation and the summer He is frantic to hold onto Erin and has so much fear Even though this story is told from only Erin s pov Weston s feelings were very well expressedI know we re high school kids, and it s crazy to feel this way, but college is four years of my future The rest is all youBullies and haters try to ruin this couple s last few months together, while insecurities drive them apart as college moving in day approaches I thought the ending was sweet and not over the top or too far in the future but just right for this seriesI just love being loved by you That s all Be Careful What You Wish For You Just Might Get It All Now That Erin Has Learned The Truth About The Girls Who Tortured Her, And About The Boy She Loves, She Finds Her Time Before Graduation Dwindling At An Alarming And Exciting Pace What Used To Be Summer Break Was Now A Countdown To Her Final Days In Blackwell Her Parents, Sam And Julianne Struggle With The Fear That Just When They Ve Found Erin, They Must Let Her Go, And The Tension Is Higher Than It S Been Since Erin Discovered Who She Really Was Finally With The Girl He S Loved Since Childhood, Weston Grows Desperate As The Summer Days Pass He And Erin Will Go To Separate Colleges His Biggest Fear Is That This Means They Ll Go Their Separate Ways Plagued With Making The Best Of The Time He Has Left With Erin, And Finding A Way To Make It Last, Weston Finds Himself In A Different State Of Mind Hourly He Is Just Beginning To Realize That Hope Is Like Quicksand The Harder Weston Struggles, The Faster Erin Sinks
