Honeymoon with Death by Amy CorwinA Second Sons Regency Mystery Book FiveKnighton and Prudence Barnard Gaunt have been married just over three months now and are on their honeymoon Everything was going smoothly as they headed to Rome until the coach they were in broke down.It seems that even a honeymoon isn t going to stop Knighton from using his skills as an inquiry agent A murder has him putting on his agent hat to solve the crime Is it one of their traveling companions or the local bandits Nothing is ever as it seems, but with Knighton and Pru on the jobthe truth shall come to light.I find the author s Second Sons mysteries excellent reading So many of the characters have a reason to commit the crime Just about the time I peg one person as the murderer, something will come up to have me suspecting someone else.

I received a complimentary copy of Honeymoon with Death Second Sons Inquiry Agency Regency Mystery 5 by Amy Corwin via Story Cartel in exchange for an honest review.Even though this book was the first one I have read by Amy I had no trouble following the story I am so excited to be introduced to this author It s rare to read a novel in this genre portraying authentic historical characters, and Amy pulls this off splendidly, through animated dialogue of the period and mid Italy region where the story takes place Every character is complex, and has a secret and a reason they may have murdered the victim, except Knighton and Pru who are on their honeymoon This book is hard to put down with all of the twists and turns keeping the story riveting, and with it s surprise ending all I can say is WOW I am definitely going to read all of Amy s other books.
